If your profile expires and you unlock it to set a new expiration date, the delta processing snapshot is cleared, and the next dataset sent into SDS will be processed as a completely new dataset. Enrollments will not be removed from the previous set of classes, if you are uploading any new classes and/or enrollments. For OneRoster API sync, once profiles expire, you need to create new ones. Enrollments are not removed from previous classes. When the profile is expired, you can perform group cleanup within the SDS dashboard. Mark classes expired - This option tags the sections as EXP in the display name and status and also updates the SIS identifier of the group. You have these options during the process: Many BBS systems ran on 286 systems.Archive Teams classes - This option puts the teams into read-only mode. This option makes it easy to identify which classes are expired and are no longer active for your staff and students. A single door program can run full speed with a 20mhz pc easily, as long as it's not doing any extensive background stuff or running quarterdeck's multitasking etc. There are suppose to be some tsr programs out there that actually slow the computer down to run these programs which I haven't used, but the best way to solve the problem is to run it in its native habitat. Most door games that get the runtime 200 error can usually be patched, but some of them won't patch correctly. Of course, you had digiboards, equinox boards and so on as well. Some doors actually used their own comm routines, many only supporting com 1-4, because that's usually all of the options one had on standard computers back in the day. When dealing with windows and door games, the main reason they work on windows is through a fossil driver, which basically acts as a communication system between the door and the bbs program, or the door and the person dialing in or telnetting in to the bbs system. The reason why, as a BBS SysOP, you'd want to use GHOST, when already having a door game server is because of mainly two issues: the first issue is that some of the games don't have fossil driver support, while the 2nd issue is usually related to an non-patchable turbo pascal error. It's a program that actually comes with worldgroup and major bbs to allow a serial connection between it and a real DOS computer, mostly for games but it can also be used for utilities, dos stuff via doorway, etc. What is a GHOST server, you probably want to know? GHOST server I believe stands for Game Host. Now, I'm starting to work on the GHOST server. Got the wifi bridge the other day, installed and working great with the new DMA server. probably something simple like a line of text pointing to the wrong url or something. The java games are down currently, and I have to see why they're not working sometime in the next few days. Then, there's the web arcade, which is comprised of flash and java games. There's somewhere around 160+ games from these two menu options. Pressing 2 from the main menu will send you to the door game server, with its own menu with game genres, like Role Playing 1, Role Playing 2, Role Playing Unreg'd, Strategy, Strategy Unreg'd, Misc, Realms Series, and LORD Games. The genres are: Adventure and RPG, Pol/Econ, Farwest Trivia, Misc Games, Casino Games, and Demos. Pressing G at the main menu will give you a menu with a list of game genres to choose from, and then a list of games under each one of those options. Once you get to the bbs via telnet, the BBS games are split up in to two servers. Hopefully some time soon, I'll get a full tutorial on the website, explaining every way to connect to the servers with screenshots and information. syncterm will do full screen mode in vista but is a bit less stable. Mtelnet is generally the most stable but won't do full screen mode in vista. Of course, you can also use the telnet terminal from windows by typing this in a dos command prompt: telnet īut not all games/features function properly using the windows telnet client, and if you're using vista, the telnet client isn't enabled automatically. The games page on the website is just info, screenshots, etc. Yeah, you actually have to download mtelnet or syncterm from the front page and connect using them to play the bbs games.
